HP 410B VTVM : INSTRUMENT OVERHAULED
* ALL CIRCUIT RESISTORS CHECKED, REPLACED AS NEEDED. RANGE RESISTORS CHECKED AT TIME OF INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION
* HARDWARE ( MACHINE SCREWS ETC) REPLACED AS NEEDED AND MISSING HARDWARE REPLACED.
* SELENIUM OHMS CIRCUIT RECTIFIER REPLACED WITH SILICON DIODE
* ALL CAPACITORS (7 .005 DISK CERAMIC, 1 10uf/450VDC ) REPLACED
* INTERNAL WIRING CHECKED AND REPLACED/REPAIRED AS NECESSARY
* "Zero" DUAL POTENTIOMETER ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLED, CLEANED, LUBRICATED RE-ASSEMBLED AND TESTED.
* POWER SUPPLY FILTER CAPACITOR REPLACED
* CAUTION "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MEASURE LINE VOLTAGE" PLACARD INSTALLED
* CASE REPAINT, CARRY HANDLE REPLACED
* IEC AC CORD SET REPLACED IF NECESSARY
* METER FACE REPLACED IF NECESSARY *
* TEST LEAD ASSEMBLY REBUILT.
AC (RF) probe nose piece is new
Test leads, alligator clips, triax are all new.
*ALL SWITCHES CLEANED AS NEEDED
* PANEL ENGRAVED OVERLAY (LIGHT GREY) USED IN CASES WHERE THE ORIGINAL HP PANEL IS DAMAGED OR IN POOR CONDITION
* NEW LEATHER CARRY HANDLE INSTALLED
* UNIT CALIBRATED ( AC & DC & OHMS) USING A HP ANALOG VOLTMETER CALIBRATOR.
* Calibration Note: Typically analog instrument calibration is done at the "top" (usually the right hand) of each scale. Intermediate calibration markings are "checked" but may or may not be accurate. The reason for this is the OEM calibrated each meter face individually for that particular SN instrument. Over time, the original tubes have been replaced, other components have been replaced, meter movements have been replaced, so the chances of the unit "calibration" being accurate at all portions of the scale of a particular instrument, are close to zero.
