    Description

For sale is a beautiful, large, complex Northwest Coast Silver bracelet of an eagle, bear, and killer whale.
This wonderfully carved silver bracelet is a hand engraved, one of a kind design.  This chiseled, lined, and gouged silver bracelet requires a lot of labor and skill to create.
This compositionally complex design uses the craftsmanship techniques of Northwest art as the basis from which artists communicate their meaning. The images on a bracelet derive from family crest symbols or majestic animals that are indigenous to the Northwest Coast.  Other elements of formline design such as the ovoid, trigon, s shapes, cross hatch and spit U`s are used extensively.
The bear face is the front of the bracelet as indicated by the short snout and bared teeth.  The right side is the eagle as is shown by the hooked beak.  On the left side is the killer whale that has some elements such as the eye and teeth.
This stunning bracelet is two inches (2") wide with an inside measurement of 7 inches plus 1.2 inches for the opening of this cuff bracelet.
The inside of the bracelet is signed "Eagle Bear Killer Whale Charles Harper".
    Charles Harper (1955 -):
Born to the Frog Clan of Carrier Native, Charles started his professional career in 1974 and created unique Northwest Coast designs. Charles gained his inspiration from master artists Lloyd Wadhams Senior, George and Dennis Matilpi from Kwakiutl Nation. Charles developed his own unique style expressing his integrity, strength of character and gentle spirit. He is widely known for his design works in platinum, gold, white gold and silver jewelry.
