The B&K Precision 309 lightweight portable meter tests earth ground resistance earth AC voltage for new existing buildings, structures, equipment, electrical systems. When in use, the 2 milliAmp (mA) measuring current permits earth resistance testing without tripping ground fault breakers of the circuit under test. The data hold function screen indicator allows the user to retain the measurements on the display for manual recording. The auto power-off feature turns off the meter after 3-6 minutes of continuous testing the battery indicator notifies the user when batteries are low to ensure accurate measurements. Ground-resistance meters are used electricians contractors working in industrial, utility, field servicing.
